Acura RDX is a five-seater all-wheel drive crossover. The car is made in the United States. Especially for the Ukrainian market, the RDX received a ground clearance increased to 20 centimeters, additional anti-corrosion protection of the bottom, as well as a washer fluid level sensor and headlight washers.
Unlike the larger seven-seater Acura MDX the RDX uses a simpler version of the all-wheel drive system, which can transfer up to 50% of traction to the rear axle.
In the second generation Acura RDX, it was decided to abandon the 2.4-liter turbocharged engine, so from now on the model is offered exclusively with a gasoline 3.5-liter V6 equipped with a variable valve timing system and deactivation of some cylinders. Engine power is 273 hp and peak torque is 340 Nm. The gearbox is a multi-mode six-speed automatic, which can be controlled manually using the paddles on the steering wheel. The crossover can sprint from zero to hundreds in 7.9 seconds.
It is delivered to Ukraine in a single configuration. The standard equipment of the Acura RDX includes front, side and curtain airbags, stability control, traction control, and hill start assist. In addition, the basic equipment for the model are xenon headlights, cruise control, rain and light sensors, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, a driver's seat, a sunroof and a tailgate equipped with an electric drive, a color display of a multimedia system with AUX, USB and Bluetooth , as well as premium acoustics with a subwoofer.
