Description Acura RDX

Acura RDX is a five-seater all-wheel drive crossover that is produced in the USA. The second generation was introduced in 2012, and has gone through several updates since then. In particular, Jewel Eye LED headlights and taillights with LED elements appeared, and the front bumper became more “aggressive” thanks to different sections with fog lights. Cars with increased ground clearance up to 20 cm, additional anti-corrosion protection and headlight washer are delivered to Ukraine.

Unlike the larger seven-seater Acura MDX, the RDX uses a simpler version of the all-wheel drive system, which transfers up to 50% of traction to the rear axle.

When changing generations of the RDX model, Acura abandoned the 2.4-liter turbocharged engine, replacing it with a 3.5-liter V6 with variable valve timing and the function of deactivating some of the cylinders at low loads. Engine power is 273 hp and peak torque is 340 Nm. The gearbox is a multi-mode six-speed automatic, which can be controlled manually using the paddles on the steering wheel. The crossover can sprint from zero to hundreds in 7.9 seconds.

After "plastic surgery", all-wheel drive Acura RDX equipped with a 3.0L V6 SOHC i-VTEC engine (249 hp, 298 Nm) with a PGM-Fi programmable injection system began to be delivered to Ukraine. This power unit is also combined with an automatic six-speed. Acceleration 0-100 km / h takes the crossover 8.9 seconds, the maximum speed is limited to 210 km / h, and fuel consumption in the combined cycle according to the passport is 10 l / 100 km.

The standard equipment of the Acura RDX includes front, side and curtain airbags, stability control, traction control, and hill start assist. In addition, the basic equipment for the model is LED headlights, adaptive cruise control, rain and light sensors, dual-zone climate control, heated and electrically adjustable front seats, an electric sunroof and tailgate, a color display of a multimedia system with AUX, USB and Bluetooth. . The RDX also features premium acoustics with a subwoofer, a blind spot monitoring system, a reverse assist system, lane control, and a collision warning system.
